Closer Magazine offices closed

Police detectives in France have searched the offices of Closer magazine to find evidence that may "lead to the identity" of the photographer who took the naked pictures.

The raid which was confirmed today coincided with a court order banning the magazine from selling the photos or showing them elsewhere. Doing so would mean they would face a €100,000 fine.

It is not yet clear who took the nude photos of Kate Middleton which means that the photographer can sell them to anyone he/she likes. However, should the photographer be caught or revealed, further court action against the distribution of those pictures are likely.

The Duke and Duchess are now returning to the UK and may face a media storm in light of the gossip surrounding their trip. Will these pictures ever go away?
